Born in the 20th century Port of Spain, Trinidad. Lincoln aka Linx as he’s called, migrated to Canada and grew up in and around metro Toronto. Linx found himself in entertainment, back to when he can remember his father giving him a saxophone and writing and directing theatrical performances. He was later discovered on the streets busking, pausing the sax for acting on the big screen and stage. He got a scholarship to study filmmaking in Vancouver. He then went on to be accepted at Norman Jewerson film Center and Concordia University film & music production. He started his own Black film company in Montreal ‘Fade to Black’ in the late 90’s. He moved back to Vancouver, producing his own film production & music albums. Touring Canada, North America, and Europe with his live music and has implemented Black centered events in his community with film festivals and music showcases and Each One Teach One for young artists.

the Beaumont Studios engaged with Lincoln to provide an event space for his production celebrating Black Music Month. The production brought together over a dozen diverse artists and performers, and it was a great success. We were highly impressed with Lincoln's commitment, vision and drive to bring together such a wonderful group of musical artists spanning multiple genres to promote and celebrate black cultural achievement in our city.
It was great to see the smiles, clapping and dancing. You really delivered.

We are excited to welcome the Vancouver Black Film Festival back to The Cultch this fall in November 2022.

Lincoln and collective have provide many performances supporting charitable organizations, which helps in any fundraising efforts.
